London’s new wildflower walk

Take a walk on the wild side with the new River of Flowers Central London walk.

A London hospitality icon for 125 years, The Savoy is giving back to the city by spearheading an initiative to create the capital’s first wildflower walk.

Working with social enterprise River of Flowers, the River of Flowers Central London walk is designed to increase the planting of native wildflowers in the bustling city, and highlight green and floral spaces along the Thames.

The initiative is very in keeping with the Fairmont brand’s commitment to sustainability; the walk will encourage wild bees, which have been in decline, and add to the honeybee hives and rooftop garden initiatives it currently has running at more than 20 of its properties worldwide.
