Australian Traveller Media began life with a simple idea; inspire Australians to see their own country. (Read memoirs of a traveller from co-founder Quentin Long )

Australian Traveller magazine and australiantraveller.com launched May 2005. The magazine quickly became the best selling travel magazine in Australia. It gained a reputation for inspired travel writing and photography and a fearless dedication to independent advice.

In 2012 Australian Traveller Media launched International Traveller magazine and internationaltraveller.com catering to the outbound Australian traveller.

We pride ourselves on putting our readers first, on quality journalism and on no-nonsense advice – all of which you’ll find in the IT Manifesto.

    Re Tricia Welsh’s article on Kashmir. A beautiful article but when was Tricia Welsh there. No mention was made of the devastating floods of September 2014 that affected Kashmir and in particular the city of Srinagar, Dal Lake and surrounding areas.

    I used to enjoy entering your magazine’s “Your Shot Competition”. I see now that is based on Instagram and understand that this medium is aimed at tablets and mobile phones but will not allow photos to be loaded via a PC. As I do not use either a mobile, nor a tablet, is there any way I can still submit my travel photos (via a PC) to your competition. Thank you.

      Hi Allan,
      Unfortunately, even if you enter on your PC you still have to do so by Instagram. There are some apps which allow you to upload to Instagram via your PC, but most require a phone or tablet somewhere in the process. Really sorry we can’t be of more help. Regards.
