The Upper House is almost everything that Hong Kong is not – quiet, serene, harmonious. They play the eco-card well with paperless check-in and the hotel cars are the energy-efficient hybrid Lexus.
Spacious rooms are supremely comfortable but with nary a hint of excess, in a spectrum of moody, designer colours.
There is a happening vibe at Café Gray Deluxe (under Michelin-starred chef Gray Kunz) and a buzz at the bar, with its killer cocktails and tantalising level 49 views.
