International Traveller Readers' Choice Awards terms and conditions

Terms and conditions of entry for the International Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards.

In addition to the general terms and conditions of entry for Australian Traveller Media competitions and giveaways, these are the terms and conditions for each of the prizes in the International Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards.

By entering, I agree to have my personal information shared with all the major prize suppliers and handled by the major prize suppliers in accordance with their respective privacy policies. By opting in, I consent to receiving marketing communications from each major prize supplier.

Please note: you will not be able to choose which prize you win. The winners will be announced in issue 57 (on sale from 15 December 2025).

You only need to enter the giveaway once.

Spacifica

• Prize is valid for travel 01-23 December 2025, 1–28 February 2026. It is not valid outside of these dates.
• Prize is valid for two adults aged 16 years and over.
• Island Night Dance Show is only available on Mondays and Thursdays (subject to availability at the time of arrival).
• Winner must contact Spacifica Travel by 30 June 2026 to arrange booking redemption.
• Travellers must have Travel Insurance to redeem this prize. Insurance Certificate is to be provided prior to the issuing of travel documentation.
• Bookings are subject to availability. The prize is non-refundable, non-transferrable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Any other expenses not listed explicitly as inclusions are the responsibility of the prize package recipient.
• The winner of this competition agrees to adhere to all third-party terms and conditions when claiming and using the prize package.

Destination Marlborough

• Valid for 6-12 months, from 18/09/2025
• Not valid for use on long weekend NZ public holidays
• Bookings are subject to availability
• Prize is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash
• Black out Peak period 22 Dec – 15 Jan – for The Marlborough Boutique Hotel Stay
• The winner of this competition agrees to adhere to all third party terms and conditions when claiming and using the prize package

Centara

• The voucher cannot be redeemed for cash, non-refundable, nonexpendable and non-transferable.
• Redemption stay validity is from 01 July 2025 – 30 November 2025 & 16 April 2026 – 30 September 2026
• Transfer Roundtrip by speedboat is included
• Green Tax USD USD 12/person/night is chargeable (applicable to all guests)

Marriott

• Gift prize does not carry any cash value and is not refundable or transferrable.
• Gift certificate must be presented upon check-in, and is subject to resort availability within the validity dates.
• Blackout dates apply.
• Advanced reservation is required and must be booked directly with Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay.
• The resort shall not be responsible for loss, alterations, theft or expiration of gift certificate.
• This gift voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions, discount or other certificates.
• Unused portions of this gift certificate are non-refundable.
• All incidental items such as food and beverage, mini bar, telephone and laundry will be at the person’s expense and should be settled on departure.
• Please note the Marriott room specified above accommodates a maximum of two (2) adults and two (2) children only (children to be aged 12 years or below).
• Due to the number of certificates issued, we regret the expiry date cannot be extended.
• Gift prize and voucher does not include resort transfers, guest will be responsible for transfers to and from the resort.
• Gift prize and voucher does not include flights to and from your destination.

Sheraton

• Valid for  months stays between 15 Oct 25 – 15 Mar 26
• Bookings are subject to availability
• Blackout dates – November sold-out dates and Dec Festive season.
• The prize is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash
• The winner of this competition agrees to adhere to all third-party terms and conditions when claiming and using the prize package

UnCruise

• Terms and Conditions
• Must trial by December 31, 2027
• Navigator or Railblazer category cabin
• Based on availability
• Confirmed 90 days before cruise departure
• The certificate covers cruise fare, fees, and port taxes
• Gratuities, air travel, and hotel are not included
• May be transferred to a friend or family member
• No cash value
• Not valid for other destinations

Hurtigruten

• The Prize is an 8-day, 7-night voyage on the Signature ‘Svalbard Line –  North’ trip from Bergen – Longyearbyen, for two (2) people departing Bergen in 2026. Prize includes accommodation in an unspecified Polar Outside Cabin; all-inclusive dining and beverages onboard (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner at Flora and Brasserie Arran and inclusive non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages at 1893 Bar during open hours). The Prize is valued at AUD $10,720 per cabin (AUD $5,360 per person twin share based on the Svalbard Line Bergen – Longyearbyen itinerary departing 14 July 2026) as of 27 June 2025. The ‘from’ price may be subject to fluctuation as Hurtigruten has a flexible pricing system and all prices are capacity controlled and subject to availability. 
• Inclusions are as outlined in the itinerary. 
• Exclusions: anything not listed in the above. 
• Cabins are subject to availability and block out dates may apply depending on availability. If your chosen date does not have an unspecified Polar Outside Cabin available, you can look at the option to pay the difference to a higher cabin class or choose a new date of departure. 
• The prize excludes transfers to and from domestic or international airports and also doesn’t include airfares. 
• No payments will be made for any costs associated with claiming the prize. 
• All references to time in this document are a reference to the local time in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia on the date stated. 
• No compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated. 
• The Prize must be taken as offered, is subject to availability and is non-refundable, non-transferrable and not redeemable for cash or any other goods or services. The prize cannot be resold. The Prize cannot be transferred to any other person, unless agreed to by the Promoter. It is a condition of accepting a prize that the winner accept the conditions of use of the Prize.
• The Prize excludes purchases on board the ship (e.g. including but not limited to non-included beverages, shopping), meals off the ship, optional tours, travel insurance, tips and gratuities, spending money, transport from Winner’s home to and from departure airport or port, visas, passports and vaccinations. 
• If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification. 
• The trip may be supplemented with upgrades and additional arrangements outside of the itinerary, at the winner’s own expense. 
• If any act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations. The Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) to cancel, terminate or modify or suspend this promotion. 
• The Promoter, its related bodies corporate and their respective officers, employees, contractors and agents (Promotion Parties) will not be liable for any losses, damages, expenses, costs or personal injuries arising out of this promotion, the promotion of this promotion or the use of any prize, including but not limited to any breach of these terms and conditions, contract or tort (including negligence) and any other common law, equitable or statutory remedy (Damages) whatsoever, including but not limited to direct, indirect and consequential Damages, including Damages that cannot reasonably be considered to arise naturally and in the ordinary course of things, even if those Damages were in the contemplation of the Promotion Parties: 
  • for personal injury or death suffered or sustained in connection with the supply of goods or services which are supplied by the Promoter in the ordinary course of business. To remove doubt: third party goods or services, which other than in connection with this promotion, are in the normal course of business supplied by a third party unrelated to the Promotion Parties, are not supplied by the Promoter in the ordinary course of business; and the Promoter’s Conditions of Carriage and general booking conditions (and any exclusions contained therein) apply despite any statement to the contrary in these terms and conditions; 
  • to the extent it is not permissible at law to limit or exclude liability in the manner contemplated in that clause (in which case that liability is limited to the maximum extent allowable by law). 

• The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from accepting a prize. Independent financial advice should be sought. 
• Receipt of a prize may have Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) implications. To the extent that there is any FBT liability, this will be paid for by the employer of the recipient. The grossed-up value of a prize and any other Fringe Benefits the recipient receives during the course of the FBT year may be reported on the recipient’s annual PAYG Payment Summary as required by taxation law. 
• Standard Hurtigruten Terms and Conditions apply which can be found here. 
• The Northern Lights Promise does not apply to prize winner itineraries. 

Koko Savusavu

• Prize is valid for 12 months from 11 December 2025.
• Blackout dates apply: 20 December to 12 January, and 1 to 7 April.
• Not valid during Australian long weekends or public holiday periods.
• All bookings are subject to availability and must be made in advance.
• Once dates are reserved, changes may only be made within 7 days of the initial booking confirmation and are subject to availability.
• Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.
• Maximum 2 adult guests.
• Winner must present valid photo ID, sign a liability waiver, and pay a refundable $250 AUD security deposit at check-in.
• Strictly no visitors permitted during the stay.
• Check-in from 2:00 PM; check-out by 10:00 AM.
• Flights are not included.
• Travel insurance is strongly recommended and is the responsibility of the winner.
• The winner agrees to adhere to KOKO Savusavu Fiji house rules and all applicable third-party terms and conditions.

Uniworld

• This reward certificate entitles the winner/recipient and one guest to a 7-Night / 8-Day All-Inclusive Luxury Bordeaux River Cruise (2026 | Brilliant Bordeaux | Uniworld River Cruises) in a Classic stateroom, subject to availability.
• *Valid for one Bordeaux River Cruise for two guests onboard Uniworld Boutique River Cruises. Certificate is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash or credit. Included in the cruise is one (1) double-occupancy Classic river-view stateroom, all scheduled meals and unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages onboard the ship (except premium spirits), all onboard gratuities and shore excursions as noted in Uniworld’s current World Brochure or at Uniworld.com/au. This cruise certificate does not include flights or pre/post-extensions. This offer excludes suite accommodations. Stateroom is assigned at time of booking based on space availability and at the sole discretion of Uniworld’s inventory management team. Details are subject to change. Celebrity Cruises

• Cruise prize description. Promoter shall include the following in the prize description section of the Promotion terms
  and conditions:
• The winner will receive a 12-night cruise to New Zealand for two people (winner and guest) on board Celebrity Edge
  departing from Sydney on 30 November, 2025 in a double occupancy Veranda category stateroom, to the maximum
  value of $7,500 inclusive of taxes (the “Prize”).
• The Prize includes return economy flights for two from any Australian airport (within 200km of the winner’s home
  address), subject to fare availability and at the sole discretion of Cruise Line. Flights will be inclusive of all baggage, taxes
  and fees to the maximum value of $2,500.
• The cruise prize includes standard guest accommodation. The winner and their accompanying guest are each solely
  responsible for any and all costs, other than those specifically stated in this Agreement that may be incurred or arise as a
  result of being awarded a prize. Such costs may include, but are not limited to, travel insurance, and items of a personal

• The Winner and guests are responsible for all travel documents (such as a passport and visa) required for travel. Cruise
  Line is not responsible for flight postponement or cancellation. The winner and their accompanying guest must travel at

  equivalent country websites of the countries being visited as part of the cruise, for the latest advice and information
  about travel documentation, procedures, facilities, policies, health and safety information and vaccination & health
  requirements.
• Health and safety protocols, guest conduct rules and regional travel restrictions may vary by ship and destination and
  are subject to change without notice. Due to changing health protocols onboard and in destination, experiences,
  offerings, features and/or itineraries may be subject to change at any time and may vary by ship and/or destination. Cruise Line does not allow anyone in their 24th week of pregnancy (or beyond) to sail.
• By claiming the Prize, the winner and their travelling companion (if any) are considered to have agreed, without limitation, to Cruise Line’s Terms and Conditions which can be viewed at celebritycruises.com/guest-terms/ and Cruise Line’s privacy policy at https://www.celebritycruises.com/au/privacy-policy.

Wendy Wu

• Valid for travel on eligible departures for 12 months from date of competition. Based on joining existing departure date. Excludes travel on solo departures.
• Travel must be completed by 31 Jul 2026. Prize will be forfeited if not redeemed by this date.
• Based on joining an existing departure date on twin share arrangements. Excludes solo departures
• Subject to availability.
• Customary tipping is the responsibility of the winner and is paid locally. Amount will be advised with final documentation. All other ancillary costs including but not limited to travel insurance, meals, drinks, transfers, personal expenditure, and all other expenses are the responsibility of the winner. International airfares are additional.
• Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
• Passport validity is the responsibility of the prize winner.
• If any prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond our control, we have the right to substitute a prize of equal value.
• Wendy Wu Tours is not responsible or liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered by any winner as a result of the conduct of third-party suppliers.

• Travel to/from departure airport and any overnight accommodation required is the responsibility of the winner.
• Prize based on joining and departing tour on official start/end dates.
• The prize is non-transferable and are not redeemable for cash

Singapore Airlines

AmaWaterways

• Terms and conditions: Offer is based on availability and is valid for one 7-night cruise in a Category E stateroom, based on double occupancy.
• Cruise is valid on select 2025 & 2026 European cruise itineraries (excluding Portugal and on the AmaMagna) embarking on or before 31 December 2026.
• Complimentary stateroom must be booked within 60 days of embarkation. Port charges and prepaid gratuities are included.
• Onboard incidentals are not included and are the responsibility of the passenger(s).
