Now open: 11 Mirrors hotel, Kiev

A Communist exterior meets capitalist sophistication inside at Kiev’s 11 Mirrors hotel.

One of Europe’s most authentic capitals and rising stars Kiev now has a sophisticated and uniquely named hotel, 11 Mirrors.

The 49-room boutique hotel looks like the typical communist era grey building from the outside, but step inside and things quickly change.

The natural stone walls, fireplace and reception desk are set off by a stainless steel ceiling. Eccentricity at its best.

As for 11 Mirrors? It might have to do with the building being 11 stories tall.

From $331.
